The exam shops are the most valuable resource we have for teaching calculus at the University of Michigan. I use the exam shop to prepare materials for every class I teach. It allows me to create topical packets of practice problems together with the University's official solutions in a matter of minutes. I put these packets on my website before stepping into class, and direct students there when we get to group work. They find it extremely helpful to have the solutions so accessible to check their work as they learn a new topic. I have gotten to the point where I don't use the book in class anymore--the exam shop gives us everything we need and is more relevant preparation for the difficult calculus exams.
I especially appreciate the careful and timely curation done my Mark. Having problems organized by type gives both instructors and students a helpful overview of what to expect. The exam shop is always updated immediately to reflect changes in curriculum and coverage.
